Three main diagnostic imaging techniques will be examined in this study. One is the bone density scanner or the "Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry" scanner (DEXA).

The other two imaging techniques are CT-based, one that is higher resolution (XtremeCT) and one that is lower in resolution (pQCT).

The results from the CT scanners are comparable in giving bone structural and density information.
