Adalberto Loyola-Sanchéz

Adalberto, a physician specialized in Rehabilitation Medicine, graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico city.  He is interested in the effects of physical agents in the treatment of rheumatologic disorders like osteoarthritis. He completed his master's degree in the rehabilitation science program at McMaster University with Dr. Norma MacIntyre. Through his master's work, he examined the effects of ultrasound therapy on cartilage morphometry in patients with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis using peripheral MRI imaging. He is currently a PhD student in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at McMaster under the supervision of Dr. Julie Richardson.
